This is the smallest of the 3 sizes in ‘The Heart of Christmas’ pattern and is made up of a bunch of hearts. What I like best about Christmas is that it brings together friends and family and the hearts signify the love between them 🙂
Pattern
The pattern is available in three sizes and is available for free on my blog:
- Hearts – Small (Fits a 8 oz Ball jar) – Current page

Dimensions
The small size fits a 8 oz Ball jar with dimensions:
Diameter – 2.5” / 6.5 cms
Height – 3.25” / 8 cms
Gauge
10 rows of 10 Single Crochet stitches is a 2.5 inch (6.5 cms) square.
Note: I make my Waistcoat Stitches very loose as compared to Single Crochet stitches. The given gauge will hold true for the base of the cozies only. The gauge for the rest of the pattern is different and if you have the base diameter close to mine, the Waistcoat Section should work out fine. You can switch to a larger hook for the Waistcoat Stitch section if that is more comfortable for you.
Abbreviations
You can find my stitch guide with all the abbreviations here.
