Lykke was the first crochet hook I picked up after about 40 years of not crocheting, they let me handle several hooks and they felt great in my hand.

I have never had a set until recently. I picked up a Tunisian Crochet set used (she hated them) for about half of the new price. Lykke are hands down the best in my opinion.

My other top pick is a company called Twin Burch their hooks and needles are made in a cabinet shop in their town. They are made in the US and a little longer than the Lykke hooks it is a straight shaft with an inline hook as is the Lykke which I really like.

Twin Burch also makes knitting needles, double-end crochet hooks and Tunisian hooks up to 14 inches. They are very affordable and available individually. I will mention that the shipping is often free but anything over 10 inches has a $20 shipping upcharge so save that length until you place a larger order.

I have several sets of tunisian crochet hooks. 2 of them are sets you have reviewed. I also have a set of "addi" hooks which have metal smaller sizes and plastic larger sizes. I haven't worked with them as much because they are with an unfinished wip that I am getting ready to finish. Another set I have is the Lykke interchangeable tunisian crochet hooks set. It is a wood set and before he passed away my husband bought me that set and the regular crochet hooks of the same brand for our 30th wedding anniversary. I am now wanting to try the Knitter's Pride set you spoke about as I already have some Knitter's Pride knitting needles and like them a lot.
