@Zoe, thank you for marking your questions with the ***'s!

1. You will pick up the next vertical bar after the two vertical bars picked up together in step 2. You are making two stitches on top of two stitches, just in the shape of an X. Once you are done with a set of two stitches, you will move on to the next set. I hope this makes sense.

2. tss is the first stitch of every other row. This is to make sure the X stitches are staggered.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

@Arunima,
Hi Arunima,
I love the pattern this stitch makes and have a question on the pattern. I put*** around the question to make it visible.

Row 2 – Tunisian Lattice Stitch

The X stitches are staggered so we start and end with a Tunisian Simple Stitch (tss).

Step 1: tss in the next stitch.

Step 2: Insert hook into the vertical bar of the next 2 stitches, yarn over, pull through 2 loops -> this is a tss decrease

Step 3: Find the first vertical bar of the decrease from the previous step, insert hook into that vertical bar, yarn over, pull through 1 loop. (Same as Step 2 in previous row)***after this, is the next
vertical bar of the 2nd of the two picked up together or is it the next vertical bar after the two vertical bars picked up together in in step 2?

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 across until there are two stitches remaining (the edge stitch / last stitch and the one before that)****Is tss the first st of each row, or is it the first st of every other row?

Thanks for your response.
Zoe Langley
