When I started making my ‘I love you so much’ wrap with the Scheepjes stonewashed / riverwashed color pack, I started off with a different idea altogether. I was going to make a heart shaped pillow cover and a wrap to go with it. When I started making the pillow cover I found that I won’t have enough yarn for both so I incorporated what would have been a pillow cover into the wrap. But, I did save a picture of it and decided to share the pattern with you.
I used 15 colors from the Scheepjes color pack to make this but it can be made with any yarn and would be a great stash buster!

Skill Level
Easy – I used the join-as-you-go method to join the motifs. If you are aware of it already, this pattern is very straightforward. If not, here is a photo tutorial for you.
Materials
- Scheepjes Colour Pack Stone Washed – River Washed OR Sport weight yarn in 15 colors
- You will need ~3 yards (~2.7m) per motif
- 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook*
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle to weave in tails
Size
- Height – ~15.75″ (40 cms)
- Width – ~16.5″ (42 cms)
Colors
*The yarn colors are not exactly the same as in the color chart above. You can get a sense of what shade (pink/green/yellow) a color might be. This is to make it easier for you to find the color you are looking for.N
Instructions
Make 18 ‘X’ motifs and 20 ‘O’ motifs and join them as you go using the placement chart below.
* You can find the pattern for the ‘X’ and ‘O’ motifs here.
* If you are not aware of the join-as-you-go technique, you can find a photo tutorial here.
The motif placement chart below shows how to place the motifs. The chart also specifies how I placed different colors in my pillow cover.

Blocking
I used a steam iron to block this. I did not use the iron directly on the wrap. Instead, I placed a cotton cloth on the wrap and ironed over the cloth. That’s it!
Assembly
This pillow cover can be attached to a heart shaped or a square pillow. I would have used a white base for mine but I think a light pink would have been lovely too.
Congratulations! Your ‘I love you so much’ pillow is ready ????
