Just like last year, I’ve decided to share the joining instructions for this year’s CAL in the middle of the year instead of waiting until the end. I hope this helps you get a head start on joining your panels and makes it more convenient to work on them gradually rather than saving all the joining for the end of the CAL!

Instructions
I used the Mattress Stitch to join the panels. While there aren’t any written instructions for this technique, I’ve created a video tutorial that shows you exactly how I joined my panels. You can find both the left-handed and right-handed videos above.

Placement of Panels
You can arrange your panels in any configuration you prefer, but if you’d like your blanket to look like mine, the chart below shows how I placed the panels in my version.
